Nathalie Dubreu is the founder of Fluid Body, which is the result of an extensive and rich process that grew from her lifelong physical practices.

Since early childhood, Nathalie has trained in many disciplines with talented teachers spanning from ballet to contemporary dance, evolving to butoh, daoyin and qigong, while moving forward to yoga and pilates. Fluid Body is enriched with martial arts philosophy and has progressed further into the wisdom of Traditional Chinese Medicine in order to enhance the whole self-healing experience of movements.

Originally, Nathalie is a fine artist and graphic designer. She moved to UK in 2000, and after graduating an MA in performance at Goldsmith, she developed her own improvisation dance based on her feelings. She created her own dance, expressing herself with her body, what she now describes as “drawing into space” with very slow movements. Through extensive research and practice, Nathalie continue to expand and deepen Fluid body technique into new wellness territories and imaginative processes. In the last 3 years she has nurtured her enthusiasm and interest for chinese medicine and the energetic qualities of meridians stretching, recognising that intuitively fluid body is on the same root.

Nathalie aims to provide the highest standard of practice. She receives excellent feedback on her treatments and most of all enjoys seeing her students leave her sessions, refreshed, relaxed, with a new sense of well being and peace within.
This dance montage was a performance work movement research about our inner shadows and how they express themselves within ourselves.
‘When I am dancing, I am moving very slowly while performing extremely pure and stretched movements. This technique demand lot of resistance and suppleness to keep the motion fluid, intense and genuine. My level of energy must stay on and my body ready for any new improvisation work. The training I have developed to get this result is based on a variety of exercises assembled together to create Fluid Body. It is now a release and stretching class aiming to improve your well being and enhance your flexibility.’
